i went to replace my brake pads the other day, and when i took the old ones off, they looked like they had at least 50% left on them...the reason i was going to replace them was because everytime i would step on the brakes, it gave off a loud sound...its hard to describe, but it was squeeking, it just sounded like loud brake pads...so whats the problem...oh yea and i checked the power brake fluid too...it also shakes a little too, from low speeds or high speeds

 

Mine do that too right now, and my mechanic roomate told me it was warped rotors. I went to replace them today, and when I took the wheel off, the screws that hold them in place fell to the ground as I removed the wheel. Needless to say the rotor was destroyed. Does the steering wheel shake when you slow down at high speeds?
