Do all 7th gens come stock with slotted and drilled discs. I was comparing my 01 EX with a buddies 03 EX and i have slotted and drilled while he has just basic disc.

Oh really? nice i find something new on this car everyday. still can't believe an old deaf lady did so much to it. 17" rims, eibachs, tokicos, and now brakes. LOL

when i first read the top im like a civic with stock slotted and drilled brakes!!!![&:][&:]..but thats a nice find for you, love the look of aftermakit disks

just remember that slotted and drill rotors wont last as long as stock brakes but will be able to transfer heat and stop better than stock.

Cheap drilled rotors have been known to crack also and by cheap I mean anything under $500 for a set

Yeah, drilling the rotors really doesn't do jack in comparison to slotting.

drilling doesnt help dissapate the heat better. it just lets air through and cools the brakes faster than rotors that arent drilled

The only true "cross drilled" rotors I know of that I would trust are porche's... the are forged with the cross drilled holes in them so they won't crack, they aren't made and then drilled.... I still say you gain next to nothing over straight slotted rotors though...
