Default Stiff Shocks

Well in November I installed some tein s-tech springs along with some Skunk2 sport shocks, and I have noticed my ride is very stiff over bumps/imperfections on the road. I live in Canada so it is cold in the winter, weather is anywhere from 0 to -30c ( 30F to -25F for U.S. temp) which is cold. Could it be my skunk2 shocks become quite a bit stiffer in cold weather like this? (havent had a chance to drive them in warm weather yet) Thanks

According to the guys at Eibach, if you lower your car more than 1.5 inches, your ride WILL suffer (all other things - like tire aspect ratio being equal).

ok, thanks for the reply. I kind of thought that it is because of the drop, im sure the shocks are a little more sporty as well which wouldn't help, thanks again man

....anytime! I forgot to mention that the cold weather will definitely have an effect on how stiff the shocks feel. A fluid will be more viscous (won't flow as quickly) and gases will be more dense, both of which will contribute to a stiffer ride.

could be that the shocks are slightly over-dampened for the spring rates. its fine as far as shock life but can make for a rough ride.
