Default stock shocks?

I just got some ST 1.3" drop springs, and I'm thinking about what to do for shocks. Im leaning to KYB GR2 .
I have read to replace the shocks when you do the springs and others say the stockers work fine for a DD
I've got a little over 100K mileage on em'....what do y'all think?

If your stockers are fine now, they'll still be fine...the car might feel a bit funny and they'll blow faster than shocks made for lowering springs.

i'd get new shocks, it'll make everything easier and u'll actually save some money. u can just take out the suspension and put all the new goodies on at once. insted of installing the springs on stock shocks, getting an alignment, and then having to go back when ur stock ones go bad and take everything apart again to install the new ones and geta realignment..

if you can afford to do it now... do it now.

FYI the Koni Red ("specials") are better than the KYB's for about the same price.

just think of it as beefing up the internals of a motor, you don't want to rebuild the entire engine, but leave the original rings in it.
