nope, that looks similiar to the DC strut bar and im not sure if it will clear the intake. i have a '04 civic lx sedan w/ a K&N sri and a Neuspeed front upper strut tower bar. its fits fine b/c the bar goes behind the thottle body. i originally bought a vibrant strut tower bar and ran into the same clearance issue, it fit w/ the stock intake but not with the K&N. the cheapest ifound it at wason http://www.directtuning.com/store/default.aspx

I read somewhere that the ebay strut bars can fit along with the aem v2 intake if you put in some washers where the strut bar is bolted on to lift it up higher... do you think that will work? Is it worth trying or should i just save the money and buy a neuspeed strut bar...

Here is my question for you....

Why risk damaging a 300.00 part by cutting corners and installing something you might regret. If you had a cheap intake on there I would say go for it, but if you have went and spent the money on a AEM V2 I would suggest saving your money and getting a higher quality part that will last longer, look better, and not run you the chance of ruining your intake.

it will not work. also, that looks nothing like the dc sport one. you can only the dc sport one, or the neuspeed one.

i think you should save up for the neuspeed strut bar. its not that much more than the vibrant one i bought first. the vibrant was $70 and theneuspeed was $118. remember, you always get what you pay for. the neuspeed bar is 1 piece andtubuler, where thevibrant (and most others) are flat and have 3 pieces. the washer trick i thought about doing also, butthen i might comprimise the integrety of the strut bar. an aemv2 intake is a quality part, so iwould spend the extra cash and spring for something that i know definitley fits perfectly, looks good, and performs great. forget about DC and anything else and just get the neuspeed, you wontregret it. OR........the less feasable waygo is tobuy an injen sri and keep thestrut bar you have currently. the injen sri comes out of the throttle body ata 90 degree bend rather than the curved shape that is causing the problem.
