struts, shocik or springs?
here're the best pic that I could have taken without raising the car. He going fine on the highway, but the whenever there is a slightest bump in the road, the whole care shook like it going to fall apart. What are you guys suggestion? raise the adj spring? but I like my car lower. or do I need new shocik and strut?

RE: struts, shocik or springs?
I'm gonna have say struts as well. The struts are responsible for slowing down the springs. It sounds like the springs are just going wild so i would look into some new struts.

RE: struts, shocik or springs?
thanks guys for all the replies. I'm such a newbie at this. Hey 4door, its not like a vibration, the whole car bounce almost off the ground when I hit a bump and generally, its a bumpy ride, very bouncy, I hate to call it "rice", but thats what it feel like. thanks darkness for the info, I didn't know what the struts are for but I do now . And Jake, I don't have any ideas about the spring rate or even what kind they are, I can try to track down my friend that sold me the car and try to find out but if not, where can i find that info? Thanks so much guys for all the help

RE: struts, shocik or springs?
Well I wouldn't worry about the springs for now. It is more than likely your struts. Reason I was asking about spring rate is because if they put on some cheap aftermarket springs they more than likely have a high spring rate. The higher the spring rate the stiffer the ride and vice versa.
