Super Noob here!
I want to get some new wheels and tires for my 03 coupe EX, I want black wheels with a crome lip, probally about a 17 inch. But thats about as far as my knowlege goes. I'm not sure what the 205/35 numbers mean, I don't know where the best places to look for wheels and tires go, and just any other information that relates to putting new wheels and tires onto a car. So any info would be greatly appreciated.

205/40R17
205 = Width in millimeters
40 = sidewall ratio; 40 means the sidewall height is 40% of the tire's width. In this case, it would be 82mm since 82 is 40% of 205
R = tire type (in this case, Radial)
17 = wheel size; in this case, 17 inches
I'd recommend http://www.edgeracing.com/for wheels and tires... they have pretty much unbeatable prices, and a great selection. I got my 17's from them and couldn't be happier... in fact, I'm planning on ordering lightweight 15's from them

You can check out tirerack.com and wheelmax too for some ideas on prices, but I don't really suggest wheelmax for your purchase. Tire rack has some decent stuff, every company seems to have their focus on certain types of rims, search the web, you will find whats right for you.
