Suspension help
I got a new set of rims 2 years ago and when I put them on and go above 60mph the steering wheel starts to shake. It shook less when the rims were new but now it's horrible. It doesn't shake if I'm on my stock rims. I'm not sure if the rims need rebalancing or what. The tires are in good condition so I don't think it's the tires. Could it be that I need to align my car? I only put these rims on during the summer. Any help would be great.

RE: Suspension help
Sounds like your wheels need to be balanced. It's not your car if the steel wheels run fine.
Sometimes a tire can go a bit outa shape with age (especially if they sit thru a season), and that will cause some shake.

Thanks guys, I think I'll do an alignment first, if it doesn't work, then I'll balance my wheels and if that doesn't work then I'll come back and complain ... by the way, does coilover play a factor?

when you go from a stock rim to bigger rims especially 17 you need to do alignment. Also it could be that the wheel and rim might need to be re blance.
