suspension noise *HELP* please
hey guys, so as most of you know, i just installed my new suspension like a month or so ago and i had a problem where the spring was shifting...thats taken care of.
now, my front passenger side whenever i hit a bump, it makes like a slight clanging noise. its not the shock or strut because i can push down on the car and there is no noise. now, the bigger the bump, the louder the clang. my question is: can can anyone shed some insight as to what they think it could be? any help is appreciated, thanks!
more notes: it doesnt make the noise when i turn, only when running over like holes in the rode, bumps, etc...

I bet you have your bushings in there wrong. In the wrong order or upside down causing there to be a small gapsomewhere inthe top ofyour assembly- or,aybe you just didn't tightne it down far enough. Either waywithout constant pressure on that washer/nut it'll rattle up and down over bumps, but you can't make it do itjust by pressing down on the suspension.
I know because my buddy did my passenger rear and he put the bushiungs and washer in upside down and it took me a month to track down the damn rattle. Bad news is that you have to take it all apart to fix it, but the good news is- it'll be fixed.
I can't find a good picture of the correct order of them, but I do remember it was pretty obvious once I got it apart.

thanks Street Sniper! i guess that technically could be true, seeing as i DID take it apart to fix the problem with the spring slipping, but i dont remember putting it in there backwards, i guess anything is possible, i appreciate our answer! i will def. check it out!
p.s.i hate taking it apart lol

OK, scratch that! i fixed it!
so i feel like a total m0RAN, i go outside, pop the hood, and what do i see??? the middle strut nut is not even tightend. it was like half way down the bolt. so when i hit a bump, the strut was bumping up to the stupid nut! tightened it, and now its NO PROBLEM!
