Default Tire fitment

I have 15" SI ek wheels on my car. I was told that 195/50/15 would be the tire size to go with. What is the largest tire i can fit on these rims, and is a 50 aspect preferable over 45 for occassional race/handling application.

205/50R15 would be the widest i'd go for street. dont need any wider and 45 is to short.

Depending on the OEM rim size, the proper 15-inch size tire may be 195/55/15 (I know this is true for 96-00 Civics), but yes, 205/50/15 is probably the widest 50s you can fit without doing other things like rolling the lips or changing the wheel offset.

Thank you much, these 185/65 crappy kuhmo's are no good for 240wtq and lowered suspension.
