Hi Folks , I am planning to replace my old 17/205/40 Z Falken Tires with New One....

Considering current condition , I am wondering if my wheels fits with


wider and thicker tires around 17/215/45 ? like seen on picture , this car still have some space 1-2 inches to between edge of

the

fender to TIRE.

if possible i will get lil bit wider than 205 but stay on 40 ?

if taller than 40 need to mod lil bit of the fender edge , i may consider ok ...

any idea civicnist ?

Change ANY of the related numbers (205, or 40) and the tire will be TO BIG for the car, not the wheel. I vote for not changing the size at all!

 

if anything id say get smaller wheels.

 

nice car...but ya i would stick with the 205,40...there are other threads posted about this if you want to search it, where people were on 17" and they went with the bigger tire and had rubbing issues, it looks like your car is lowerd too so..ya, you could chance it..

 

dont take the chance.... i got 215s and lowered my car and they wont fit anymore.
