Default Uneven tire wear??

I bought car around 4 years ago and have had uneven tire wear since i bought it. The wear comes from the inside of the rear tires. Looking from behind car, i can notice a the tire slants out slightly like this \ but a huge amount. I had an aligment a yr or 2 ago so i'm not sure if it needs another. Could the struts be bad and causing this? I have started to rotate tires every 5k miles and the wear is slightly less but still there.

Car is a 98dx coupe 113k miles

That sounds like a camber issue. Usually, alignment shops do not touch camber adjustments unfortunately. Only Caster and Toe adjustments. I would contact the shop you took the car to and ask if camber adjustments were made. Or look at the print out they usually provide which shows before and after measurements etc.

Is your car lowered? If so, that could play a role but unless it's VERY low, it's unlikely.

I'd guess that it's more likely that there is a worn suspension component somewhere. Probably a bushing in one of the control arms. OR, if the car has any history of accidents, possibly a bent arm. Inspect your suspension components.

There are no ways to adjust camber off a stock suspension. The reason alignment shops don't mess with camber is because in most cases they can't. Caster is also not adjustable on most cars.
