well ALMOST done dropen it......
thanks for the heads up on the washers, guess I'll go w/ 2 then.
Not to turn this into an eyelid thread, but I actually like the eyelids, I can't believe some of yall like the big buy eye lights of the eks...ugh...I look at egs front ends in envy, but I otherwise like my HX so its not going anywhere...literally found out about them a week ago, hope they can make the lights look more like an eg, they are going on as soon as I run my civic thru inspection (dont think the inspection guys like them that much).
Though I would've gone black, but thats me b/c my car is black...

LOL well grammers not my thing
and the drop cost me $545.84 for the struts and springs.
like 30bucks for 3 new bolts for the rear struts.... but i found out its easier to remove the top camber thing ya do the washer trick to... found that out cause i couldnt get the last bolt out of the lower control arm.LOL bolts are like 8bucks each from dealership... i think... cannt remember exactly... they had to order 2 which i got next dayy luckely enough....
they werent REALY NEEDED cause i didnt break any BUT the threads didnt look that great so i thought MIGHT AS WELL....
then like 42bucks to rent the spring compressor.... money ya get back from autozone when ya return the tool
and afew more bucks for a can of penatrating oil...
not bad at all for now...
but let me ask ya droped guys... since the HP struts arent warented for drops....... what do ya say SHOULD be used or is designed for a drop? i like a preaty soft feel since it is my daily driver and i do some preaty decent road trips from time to time.lol
so i dont want something that will make ya feel every bump in the road... its already bad enough when i have 17s.lol
i just hope i dont have any rubbing when i get my 17s and 205-40-17s
with steelies thiers no rubbing.

you might rub just a little when you hit something big but its not going to be a problem. as far as the ride goes, when you get your new rims and tires, honestly, not much is going to change unless you are on a crappy road.
ya for the crazy S*** driving i was doing after i put them on....LOL if thiers no rubbing when doing that i know the steelies wont rub.LOL

you have any problems with any of the control arm bolts? Or did the PB blaster/pentarting oil do the trick?
