soo has anyone put airbags on a civic??.. not that i was thinking about doing it or anything but how would it fare on that type of car??

 

Airbags aren't the best idea unless they're just for show. My friend had them on her eclipse. Turned me off because she said the ride was HORRIBLE and the bags tend to freeze up in the winter (due to the condensation). Several times she had to drive around with a permenant lean until the bags 'decided' to work.

A good friend of mine has them on his civic. He hasn't had any problems with them freezing up that I know of, but I always wanna ask him why he ever thought he'd need them. Still, they don't look bad, but you can acheive the same look from a set of springs.

 

Mine came stock with the car. One on the drivers side and one on the passenger side. Just playin.

Airbags are a safety feature, not a suspension. Airbags are ghey IMO.

 

yea ok air bags arent gay sittin at a car show bein bored is ghey......u don't put bags on a civic unless your dumb get air struts (less air to make them go up and down making them faster and lays alot lower) the ride isn't great but its like a caddy floats so takin turns at 99 doesn't work and yea the valves will tend to freeze up in cold weather. so its not for everyday cars.....don't buy the junk kits u see im mags pm me and i will tell u the best....some people like the look of springs but everyone gathers around a car dancin......its all what u are into i love cruisin and someone asks me to race and i jus bang switchs and of course they got a stock *** honda and i race and smoke them........go a lil show and go.....
