Hey guys, just got some new wheels and tires, I wanna go in and get the tires put on the wheels and balanced and put on the car. I got a quote of $110 bucks. Is this normal cost?

Well, depending on what the going rates are in your area. It, realistically shouldn't cost more than 15.00 PER WHEEL, to "mount and balance" 4
Understand, if you would have purchased the tires from the place you got the quote....it would have been less. Anyonwe will charge you more if you "bring your own meat to the resturant"... Was that 110.00 Canadian?

Damn, Forty, I need to drive out there. Here it's on average 20-25 per wheel. Some places charge more depending on the tire size.

Bring the rims and tires in, put the wheels on yourself at home.
They'll charge your for mounting, valve stems and balancing. Around $25/wheel since you didn't buy the tires and wheels at their store.

Ok so I should get them to put the tires on the wheels and then put them on the car myself.

So whats a valve stem? I thought you just bolt it on and go...
