I like my Nex-O rims, but I will agree they could have been crafted a little more solid. When I got them from wheelmax they werent balanced, and one tire was out of round. Still waiting on my refund on that tire.
Anyway, they ride well, and I like that nex-o set you picked better.
Don't order online, call them, call and get a quote, then call and wait for someone else to answer, and so on.. Before long, you will get them with tires to your door for like 700 bucks shipping included. They all one-up eachother over the phone to get the sale. It's awesome.
Tell em to ship all your crap seperately and then you can have a local shop do the mounting, and save that 40 bucks.

when people say that 17" wheels make for a rough ride do they mean that if u go over a bump or down a rough road its rough or that just straight driving on a pretty good shape road or a highway is rough...
^ to answer your question, the rims size doesn't affect the ride quality, but the tire profile and width affect the ride. i'm running 17's with 205/40/R17's, and i thing the ride is crap, on highway driving, it's not that bad, but you can still feel that it's a little too firm for a nice ride. on other roads, it's another story, the ride is horrible, depending on the quality of your tires and the condition of the road. if you live in a city, say goodbye to an enjoyable ride forever. which is why i'm going with 15's now with 55 series tires.
