I was looking at getting strut bars for my 05 LX (if these will fit).

I was wondering if anyone had Megan strut bars, if so, do you like them, and are they worth the extra money?

 

I think Street (or Forty) has the whole Megan setup on his, FU, RU, RL.

AH HA! You guys are correct, i have the full set. Ngo, I highly recommend them. When i first put mine on, it made a noticable difference, and i was pretty happy with them. When i added the new wheels/tires, it brought out the full performance of the strut bars. I can seriously whip around 90 degree corners at 45 with almost no body roll what so ever. Oh yeah, i havent gotten springs/struts yet either, once those are on i highly doubt there will be any body roll.

Forty, did you get yours from eBay, how much did you pay for them, and how many did you get (set of 3 or 4). Is that link that I put up a good deal?

 

Looks like a good deal to me! My set came with 4 bars, front/rear upper/lower. Not sure why that set doesnt come with the front lower, but other than that, yeah it looks like a damn good deal. The result is MORE than worth 55 bucks

 

Yeh, the 3 strut bars cost $60 then $55 shipping to Canada. Total = $115

Yeah, i think mine were like 86 shipped to my door. Mine are a little different tho, i think those ones are newer.

 

Only downside to a new car is that it's harder to find mod items for it.

Maybe the 05 doesn't need a front lower. (I haven't had time to check underneath my car yet to see if one comes stock.)

 

For sure. If i were you, i'd go for that kit if you can't find one with all four. Like you said, you may not need the fourth one anyway
