will 17"s slow me down?
What up yall,
I have a 95 civic hb si and I'm about to buy some wheels for it. I have had a lot of opinions from friends and I'm trying to figure out if i put 17"s with low pros will it slow me down? Would 16"s be a better choice? I think 17" looks nice, but i dont want to loose a noticible amount of preformance. 17's are more popular I guess, because they are usually cheaper and easier to find than 16"s.

If you're car doesn't make enough power to turn 17s, it isnt worth modifying. As long as you get some lightweight 17s, there shouldn't be much of a problem. The main thing about heavier wheels is rotational inertia. The heavier the wheel, the more it will want to keep turning under braking load.
