Question Will these springs work with these struts??

I have a 2001 Honda Civic LX 4dr. I currently have all stock coil springs and shocks. They are worn out and I would like to replace them with aftermarket parts. I am looking to lower the car a little bit, but still have a smooth ride. I also need to keep it cheap. I was thinking of using Eibach Pro-Kit Springs and Tokico Struts (HP Series). Will these work together? How will the ride be? Thanks in advance for your input.

As long as those are both for your car it will fit.

thats a great entry level combo. Eibach makes great springs. I have the sportline springs and love them.

and the Tokico blues (HP series) complement the pro-kit springs very nicely.

I've seen a few people on this forum start with this setup and they all were happy. and if i remember correctly, the main reason some of them don't run them anymore is because they upgraded to coilovers.

Thanks for your input. I have another question. Do I need a camber kit?? I am only going to drop the car about an inch. I plan on keeping 14 inch rims on the car. Thanks

No, a camber kit isn't required. Negative camber isn't too bad for the tires until you get past about -4* of camber; then it starts killing tires (I lowered my old civic 2.5" up front and 3.5" out back and had -3* all around).

Just make sure you go to an alignment shop and have the toe set back to factory specifications after you lower the car (give it about a week for the springs to settle before going).
