Winter Tire Question
Just purchased a 07 EX sedan and wanted to know if anyone has a good recommendation for winter tires. Live in NH where we can get quite a bit of snow and need to commute approx 50 mile to work each day.
Also wondering if anyone has advice on going to a -1 size wheel/tire set up for winter.
Thanks

The two best all-season Ultra High Performance tires as rated by Consumer Reports are the Falken Ziex ZE-912 and the Nitto Neo Gen ZR. General has the Exclaim UHP, which placed 5th. The Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105 placed dead last (15th). I have the Falkens and they are excellent tires.

I prefer to run a good all season tire, that actually performs well in winter, ended up with the Pirelli P4, much, much better in winter than any other all season I've run.
Most people that I know swear by Michelin winter tires, the sub model would be dependant on your type of winter conditions. Of any of the winter tires I see on vehicles in my area, if it's a name brand it's Michelin 95% of the time.
There's no reason to go down in size for winter, your wheel wells will still pack full of snow, and you'll lose ~0.5" of ground clearance for those snowy roads.
