Ok so I found a 02 civic that is automatic. The girl says it won't shift on its own but you can shift it manually. She said she was told either her key is bad or it's a bad ecu. Does this make sense to anyone.

 

I don't know if that makes sense, but I'd stay away from any Civic with a tranny problem. They're known for not having the greatest trannies to start with. My 05 Civic has never had a problem, but my daughter's 2012 has been in the shop twice for shifting problems. If it's a used car you're looking for, I'd keep on looking.
