Hey guys , i have a 1988 honda civic with an automatic tranny... when it shifts into 4th gear it makes a ratcheting noise...someone told me that it is caused by the slider in the tranny.... they said its a part that wears down... my question is ...has anyone been up againts this befor? how hard is it to open up thoes trannys to fix the problem? any pointers where to start?
