just bought a 92 civic hatch and the guy i bought it off of said he just put in a new gear bushing, and that i still have to work in first gear. also its got a turbo and it revs high so it usually launches perfect in second anyways. but one time i tried using first and it just grinded the **** out of it...

does this problem sound plausible or is this guy pullin my chain?

It probably means he ran it like hell and it's having tranny problems. Did you not drive it or get it checked out before you paid money for the car? lol
