2004 LX 5spd swap to EX 5Spd
Hello,
SO... here's my question, I was recently told that if I swap the 5spd from my 04 LX with a 5 spd from a 01-05 EX that I will get a much more favorable gear ratio, is this true? I have a slight grumble (Always have) in my LX tranny in first at low rev's, been meaning to look at it one day and I think it may be soon as I am thinking of getting the car ready to boost. If I'm going to rebuild and an EX tranny is better for performance then I will look into it. I know I'm not going to have a lethal weapon in my LX anyway even under boost, I just want a bit more merge power umph when I want it. Any ideas?
