Default 2006 Honda Civic Transmission Problem

Hello everyone!

I have a 2006 Honda Civic EX and I am having a problem with my car. I hope you guys could help me out in determining the problem of my car. Here's what happens.. I started my car with no problem, reversing out of the garage in a smooth way. I hit the freeway with no problems! Then, there's traffic ahead. I slowed down then about 10mph my engine stops while slowing down. I came to a full stop then I started it up again with no problems at all. Accelarated to catch up with traffic, not more than a mile later it happens again. Same thing, I slowed down and the engine shuts off. When I was still moving about 3mph, I shifted my gear to "P" to start up my car again and I heard something in my car (Clunk, clunk, clunk, pat, pat, pat) (I should've notdone this huh?) Then my car jerked to a stop when I reached 1mph. Why is this happening? Also, I feel a pulling when it changes gear from 1st gear to 2nd gear but the 3rd and 4th have no problems at all. What might cause this?

All suggestions will be much appreciated! Thank you!

My first suggestion is take it to the dealer. You're still under warranty. Could be either a bad torque converter or transmission control module (could be part of the ecu, I'm not familiar with newer models).
