i have a 1992 civic dx sdn...i was wondering if anyone might know what it would take to conver my automatic trans to a stick, also a cheap place i may be able to locate a cylinder head, it is a 1500, I've found some for $150 but they want an arm or leg to ship it. thank you

first off y are you posting this in the HCF project section, I see you are new but this is definitly the wrong place to be posting questions. As for the auto to stick, this question has been asked millions of times just use the search button at the top of the page, it is fairly easy coversion, just need the pedals, shifter, and think u might need a ecu from a car that has a stick. Runs you around $800ish after install correct me if im wrong but anyways mods will probably move this thread to the right section.

sorry i didnr realize i had posted this wrong untill afterwords plus i did it at like 4 last night cause i couldnt sleep...i get up at work for 5 so yea...and thank you ill look in to it some more on here.

If your car doesn't have any modifications or real investments, I would just sell it and buy a 5 speed of the same car or close to the same car. It will be the most cost effective, and easiest. That's just my recommendation, but do whatever you want.


For the cylinder head, check out your local craigslist listings. Look for a D15B7 head.
