Hey guys, I just bought a 1997 Honda civic ex for 300$. I was told it has
Transmission issues. Hence it being 300$. The issue I'm having is engine is running tiptop. No warnjng lights on dash etc. The issue it's having is its hard to get it into and out of park. Issue when driving is when your in drive gear the car rolls back until you hit the gas. The transmission doesn't engage until 2500-3000 rpm and then the car kinda launches. After it gets going it up shifts fine but when you let off the gas and it slows the car with violently jerk until you hit the gas again. I tried flooring it and it didn't slip. Is the tranny gone or is it a computer or fluid? I have no idea. I'll put a vid up soon thanks

Checked the shift solenoids?

Not yet, I'm sure its the tranny now. Slipping like crazy and bucking when I let off the gas. Slides right onto second gear from a stop. Where in Toronto can I get a cheap tranny installed?
