I was driving for about 20 min when I came to a stop sign, slowed down, and attempted to proceed thru the intersection and it would not catch. after letting it sit for about another 20 min it drove fine for 5 min and starting slipping again just befor I parked it. Is there anyone that can tell me where to start with this? And yes I checked the fluid level and it's not burnt either.

 

I am guessing it a automatic, and did you try to shift into different gears if it response the same?
