i got a 99 civic dx and my tranny is shot. input shaft bearing and syncro's, i was wondering what are my options for another tranny? i'm gonna look for a used tranny and was wondering if there is a better one i should be looking for?

also, anybody know of a company with the cheapest rebuild kits? thanks

 

well if you go used and want alittle better performance look for a EX 92-00/ sohc SI 92-98 ive heard that 96+ trannys are built with alittle better internals if you plan on beating on the car...

but to keep your better gas milage than the DX transmision ones are better for milage. the EX and SI have shorter gears.
