adjusting clutch engagement pedal good/bad?
i just bought a 92 civic vx that has ~168K miles and the trans and clutch are both original with no signs of slippage nor grinding gears. i've been spending some time searching regarding this particular topic and i heard a bit of mixed views. from one side i hear that honda clutches tend to catch at just near the top rest area of the pedal. i also heard that if adjusting the timing of the clutch via the rod underneath the foot panel where it goes out through the firewall and into the master cylinder that you risk shortening the life of the clutch(i dont know how u could as it really depends on how long u press the clutch and the gas anyways
). i drove a few other cars that the timing of the clutch can be adjusted and they're both hydraulic. one being a domestic 2.2ecotec and the other and a 240sx chuki.

i looked in the civic and it also has the same rod and screw thats in my 240sx. can i adjust it so the timing of the clutch pedal be more towards the middle and not near the top resting point? thanks in advance and for your expertise and support
