'94 Civic EX, automatic, 1.6 liter, 270,000 miles on car, JDM engine 30,000 ago

Car will shift into any forward gear or reverse, and move under its own power. Will drag with the brake on, or the e-brake set.

After one minute or so, the trans is gone. Back in to park, shut off car, re-start car, moves again for like 30 seconds.

Found that the fluid was low. Re-filled, did not drain and fill, but it is no better. Fluid is redish.

Daughter-in-laws car, son works crazy hours, I'm pretty handy mechanically.

hi, I have about the same problem. did you get it repaired?
