some of the 80's civic wagons were AWD and i was wondering the possibility of modding them also... and its funny just yesterday i was driving behind a CRV and wondered the same thing as KRC

 

the wagovan's drivetrain is kinda not designed for anything over 100hp going through it...plus I think they were actual 4x4

 

theres a vid floating around h-t of a 4wd wagovan. it was a turbo a6 and was pretty sweet for what it is.

if it were mine id let you know the pic was taken from h-t and i cant remember the user name but i found it interesting enough. he got slightly flamed for usiing the 4g63 but that guys a cool dude. he never took any bad comments the wrong way. i give him mad props for doing this.

 

Why would he get flamed? DSM's are the shiznit. Combining the best of both worlds is pretty ingenious. If the car companies did it, Hondabishi would make a fortune. lol

 

flamed by people who didnt know any better. supposidly about tming belts that just snap for no apparent cause. blah i say, it could happen to any car. and then the infamous " its gonna blow no matter what" thats only because people upgrade the turbo and everything else on a stock block, cant expect it to take much for long.

 

I see. My last car was a DSM so I have a certain respect for the 4g63.
