Default B20 Transmission combo??

Hey guys, I want to swap a B20 into my 94 civic cx hatch, and later do the crvtecsetup. My question is: Can I use a 1994 acura integra ls tranny? Will it mate with the b20 properly? I have heard about the b16 tranny's not working, and I dont think IO can afford a gsr tranny/ or find one.

im with you on this one I havea 1999JDMb16 tranny looking to mate it with a crvB20. I dont see why it wouldnt work, they are the same engine just diffrent stroke and bore. I think it's just that you will be reving the b20 like theb16, wich would becrazy people say... I guess just do the speed limit and you will be okay??

Well the B16 will work just fine but you will rev like mad on the highway. The worst I have seen is 4800 rpm at around 100 kph. Not fun. THe gsr would be the best option as it has shorter gearing then the LS but longer then the B16. But yes, you can use an LS trans, it will bolt right up. And its not thaaaat bad, its shorter then the D16Z6 gears if you know what they are like.
