civic tranny

my tranny in my civic is not working properly and i got a tranny of a honda civic si 99 automatic. my civic is 97 dx auto as well.But i dont know if the tranny from the SI is gonna fit on my Dx eny thoughts on

NOPE... the 99si is for a B series motor. yours is a Dseries. wont fit. sell it and look for a 96-00 dx/ex/hx/cx.

Unless you're canadian. then the Si will work, but the SiR won't.

yes if the Si you got the trans from is a Canadian Si then it will work for your DX as long as it wasnt a Canadian SiR you got the trans from

remember, no USDM Si's (EM) came in automatic
