Default Clutch not coming back up

I just got a new civic hatch today. It has a b18b1 swapped in with a B18 tranny. Every now and then the clutch doesnt come back up on its own. It just stays down and I pull it back up with my foot and everything is fine. What could this be?

air in the lines. bleed the clutch slave cylinder.

if that doesn't work and you're losing fluid, you might have a leaky master cylinder or slave cylinder.
if you're not losing fluid, the master cylinder may be bad.

I noticed a little spot on the driveway. Is that just a gasket to replace or what if its leaking?

Is the fluid leak coming from the slave cylinder (opposite the radiator on the clutch housing)?

if it is leaking you have to replace the whole thing. find out where it's leaking from first.

Whats the price range for replacing the master or slave cylinder?

y afind out where its leaking first...
hop under the dash and look at the clutch linkages up there if they are wet from leaking brake fluid the master is gone bad.
if its leaking infront of the tranny on the slave then thats posibly bad.. tho it could also be as simple as they didnt tighten up the bleeder....

either way bleeding the fluid till its clear is still a good thing to do... if urs isnt leaking then it could just be alittle air or really dirty fluid.

i dont believe a new master or slave cost that much...

Thanks for the help. Its an amazing 25 degrees out so Ill try and get around to finding the leak. I asked the guy before I bought it about any leaks at all and of course he said none at all. But even still, $3500 for a 2000 GSR swapped hatch with a mint body....Im happy.

Not yet, its dirty as hell. I couldnt exactly see where the leak was coming from, somewhere closer towards the passenger wheel. And where is the bleeder? Ive never had to mess with anything transmission related.
