Default Clutch Vendors??? Which one???

OK guys heres the story...

I'm building my motor; full internals excluding sleeve(for the moment), adding 100 shot of nitrous (possibly more), stage 2 n/a cam, fuel pump, 390-440cc injectors, FPR. Looking for a clutch that will be able to handle this. Want your opinions on the better/best companies.

Gonna leave this up for a week.

Thanks

Exedy is a little cheaper, but just as good quality as ACT.

Exedy Cerametallic for D17 - $415.80
ACT Xtreme 6 puck for D17 - $397.95

Exedy cheaper?

Generally and depending where you buy... And even with your mods...I don't think a six-puck is necessary...its a huge PITA to drive...and you won't be on the nitrous all the nime so you'll annoy the hell outa yourself driving a six-puck

I fully understand what you are saying, and you're right I won't be on nitrous all the time, but when I am, I want something that can handle it. as for it being a PITA to drive, my opinion, it's all a matter of getting used to it. I think I'm gonna go with Exedy Cerametallic clutch, but can never have too opinions.

Strongly disagree...these clutches you just can't get used to...and once they warm up...you'll remember your first days of driving stick...and won't forget them for a really long time... It grabs like crazy, the pedal is overly firm, and it's very abrupt

Is that only for the 6 puck or for all general aftermarket clutches?
