Creaking Clutch

Creaking Clutch
I have a 99 Honda Civic Ex. Lately whenever I push in my clutch and release it there is a creaking sound. I tried to fix it with WD-40 up around the clutch from the inside of my car but that didn't work. Any suggestion?

Sorry I'm not too experienced with Cars. Where and what is the firewall?
PS the noise seems to be coming from the drivers side and I can hear it more when the hood is opened, coming from down by the clutch pedal

RE: Creaking Clutch
The firewall is the sheet of metal that separates the engine bay and the interior of your car. So basically, it's the sheet of metal that your clutch, brake and gas pedal are attached to.

RE: Creaking Clutch
i think this has been brought up before. mine does the same thing and has been doing it for thousands and thousands of miles and no problems. seems to be pretty common but i've never heard of it causing any problems..
