Default Creaking in suspension

Hello,

A car i recently purchased has begun creaking in the rear when going over bumps or dips. Anyone have an idea what is most likely to be the culprit. (rear shocks just replaced)

Thanks in advance

hey, im not sure but my car seems to be doing the same thing. When I go around a corner to the right there is a clunk noise that gets faster as i go faster. It also happens when I hit a bump or pothole, I thought it might be a wheel bearing or something, I think I am going to take it to the shop this week and have it looked at. When I hear what it is, I'll let you know. Any ideas welcomed as well.

Thanks,

Craig

Sometimes, the rubber bushings on the anti-sway bar cause the squeeking.

Control arm bushings i would say. One of your bushings in the suspension is prolly worn out and whenever you hit a bump the bushing should rub up against the metal but since there is no bushing the metal is rubbing up against another piece of metal causing the sound.
