Do I need intermediate shafts?
Do I need intermediate shafts from a manual if I'm converting from auto to manual? Almost every part list I looked at didn't list them, but I recently stumbled upon one that did...

I'm putting it an D16Y8 tramission...I'm converting from the dreaded CVT (98 HX).
Here's the article that said I would need intermediate shafts...The conversion in the article it for a 92 Civic EX.

The motor in the article is B-series. If you were using a B-series engine/tranny, you would need an intermediate shaft
Engine Swap and Auto-to-Manual Conversion: B18B1 motor, manual LS tranny, and stock manual ECU from a '95 Integra RS
