my point is dropping down a gear and "Getting on it" is like dumping the clutch on a manual trans, after awhile the clutch wears out and you have to replace it, but for auto's you cant just go out and replace "the clutch" you either have to take it to a shop and have it rebuilt or buy another one. and the sound you hear is valve lash
