I popped the hood today to install my Air/Fuel gauge, well there is some sort of fluid on my tranny nothing leakin from the motor, my tranny has been grindin gears when i shift quick so i was thinkin my synchros are bad but the fluid leaking makes me wonder.... ill post a pic here in a bit....

Notice no oil from the base of the head but its all on the tranny..

Can you wipe it off and than start the car and see where it leaks?? It seems to me that it didn't leak all of the sudden but rather a little at a time...

yea ill do that tomorrow morning, what kind of oil do you put in ur tranny??

I have 5w-30 castrol syntec in there. But I only use it because I have a lot of it. Otherwise I would have put 10w-40 in it.

i would say check your distributor o-ring----just clean it off with brake clean --let it dry & start it up & look [:'(] it look like the coolant hose might have oil on it too?

yea i do believe it is the dizzy o-ring, where do i get a replacement...

any parts store should have one ---pop out dist. &take it with u ---& your dist. only goes in 1 way ---just put a chizel between dist. & head & u wont have to adjust timing

ok i put in the new honda oem o-ring and it still is leaking and it is the dizzy that is leakin, could i use a thin gasket materal and custom fab a little gasket ??? i was thinkin yes..
