Hey all,
I just recently found someone in my area with a nicely built H22A Type S. It has been in 2 cars, the original lude, and another civic , the same year as mine. (Mine is a 1996 Hatch)

It comes with everything, except for the transmission. How hard are these transmissions to find? I have done some looking on the internet, but i cant seem to find anything. Is anyone aware of a place where i can get one? and will any H22 Transmission work?

 

there not very hard to find...........hit up jdm engine importers.........ebay, and even local forums. personally i wouldnt touch an h22 tranny. 3 people i know with h22 swaps and all 3 of them are having transmission problems from grinding gears to malfunctioning lsd units. it may actually be cheaper and easier on you to purchase the H2B adapter and find yourself a b series transmission.
