So to add 12-24 ounces should I park on a decline or remove some of the old tranny fluid.

I would drain all the fluid, and add the recommended amount of lucas and then fill it up the rest of the way with the normal 10W-30. It only holds about 1.8 quarts. The drain plug is further down on the lowest part of the side of the tranny. You stick a 3/8 ratchet in the square hole and take the bolt out and all the oil drains. It'll only take an extra 15 minutes to do it the right way.

Yea I was thinking about just doing the whole thing since there isn't jsut a res. to top off. Does Honda make their own tranny fluid or is there like a certain brand I should go for?

Honda does make their own and i think its around $5 a quart. If your close to a dealership i would so go ahead and use their stuff. However you can use regular 10w-30 or 10w-40 just make sure it is some decent stuff (go sythetic). It is also important to get a non-detergent type oil because it can create excess bubbles and reduce lubrication.
