Man-u-el tranny oil--How in - what weight

Default Man-u-el tranny oil--How in - what weight

Good morning, I have a 97EX civic manual trans. How do you get oil in and what weight weight is best for PA area temps? I know how to get it out just did not find fill hole yet?? Thanks Toby

just either get regular motor oil or some honda manuel trannsmission fluid OR gm synchromesh for manuel trannys. if you are getting regular oil go with 5w/30 for colder weather or 10w/30 for hotter weather is what honda recommends

i use 10w-40 motor oil for my tranny fluid, and i fill it up through the VSS hole. much easier IMO. you don't need a hose. all you need is a long funnel.
