Default Manual transmission slipping.

Oh boy am I pissed about this one.

Ok so I just got my new clutch installed and the thing is amazing.

But I have noticed that it is slipping. When I give it a good amount of gas the RPM gage goes up a lot faster then the speedometer. Almost as if I am rev'ing the engine in neutral.

I know its not the clutch obviously and honda did the work for me.
The other thing is, I got my transmission fluid changed probably a month ago.
So I doubt its that.

What can I do to fix this problem?

Thanks.

My first guess would be there is a problem with your clutch. I would take it back to the shop that changed it and have them take a look at it. Are there any noises coming from the transmission?

Hey, i just wanted to follow up on this post.

I guess the clutch just needed more time to settle in because I didn't do any thing and the problem corrected itself. It hasn't slipped in almost a month now. So i guess it just needed time.

But thanks for the responses.!
