around 500 400 or so... and at times its just below 1000 rpm ... the engine has onle 65 600 miles on it and its stick shift... even when everything is turned off lights, cd player, a/c, heat, jsut the car running and it idles at liek 5 or 40 or just below 1000.... whatcould be the problem and would my warrenty cover it?

Normal idle is around 700, exact number depending on trim/year/country. What exactly you think your problem is? Idle too low? Idle too high? Erratic idle? Oscillating idle? Try to be more specific...

well if my idle is at like 300 400 i think its too low... dont you... and at times its right below 1000.... it switchs around ... wtf is wrong with and how can it be fixed...?? it shouldnt have any problems its a 2000 with 65 600 miles on it...

How can you measure 300-400? Your tachometer most probably goes down to 500, then there are no marks until zero.

Anyway, I would start with EACV if your idle botheres you. Remove and clean it, and then we'll see

i had a similar problem, their was a clog in the iacv valve, i would get that cleaned first
