Default New civic clutch; easy to burn out?

I bought a new 08 civic lx, stick shift, and was wondering how durable is the clutch? this is my 3rd car, my last was a auto :-(. It took me a few tries and now i shift just like i used too! Any advice on taking care of the clutch is much appreciated as well as the durability of it.

Honda transmissions are built very well. I don't know much about that generation civic, but I know that the weaker points of the 6th gens are the synchros (weaker in comparison). Unless you beat the **** out of it should last you for awhile lol. Just remember to change the trans fluid around 60k miles (check haynes manual, off the top of my head don't remember exact mileage).
