i searched and there are many recommendations on clutches. i thought i would post what condition my car is in and i would take suggestions from you all.

1993 Honda Civic LX 5spd
175k miles

my mechanic says the clutch is bad. needs to be replaced.
if i were to replace it, what type of clutch would you recommend (excedy? oem?)
my car is completely stock. I was thinking of putting in a STS and adding more horsepower. but with the car at 175k would it withstand more horses?
