if your driving at say 60 mph and you slow down for a corner and you have the clutch in. why won't the shifter go into the postion for first gear (so you can accel after the corner) even though you keep the clutch in.

 

You will not able to shift into 1st gear at that speed… not even at 25 mph, but you can shift into 2nd tho.. use heel-toe techniquewill help your cornering.
