performance tranny question

Default performance tranny question

what can u do to a tranny so that u can do burnouts, not blow the diff, and still drive it on the street. i know u can get a spool type thing in there, but then u cant turn for crap. so any info would b great

Why would you want to do burnouts? That's a retarded waist of time and rubber.

An open differential is actually easier on the drivetrain... so adding a limited slip is not the answer for longevity, but it will give you more traction.

Expect to spend about $1k on a LSD unit.

you cant do good burnouts because you drive a stock honda civic. Hondas that make decent power have the ability to spin em whenever they please.

i wasnt wondering this for my civic, i was wondering it in general, like in these magazines u see these cars making loads of hp and the tranny must take a beating. i was just curious
